Ongoing Programs

The Mt. Hood Towne Hall offers a wide variety of wonderful ongoing programs. Many are on going outreach programs to our local youth. Please read below for a short description of each program and information on how you can become involved.

Mt. Hood Community Meals-

The Mt. Hood Community meals is a healthy meals program that has been in operation since 2001. They provide complete meals every Thursday at a very reasonable price. While out enjoying your wonderful meal you can also visit with all of your friends and meet new ones.
Lunch is served every Thursday at 12pm

          

Suggested Donation:   Seniors - $2.50
All community members welcome - $4.00

Zinindika Marimba Ensemble-

The spirited and youthful marimba ensemble, Zinindika, uses our premises every Sunday for their practices. They play colorful African tunes from Zimbabwe on large wood marimbas. Zinindika has been playing together for six years and have recently released a CD.

4H-

Various 4H groups use our premises for their meetings and our building also hosts their annual Midnight Madness overnight party. 4H groups include the Hot Tamales and a local sewing group, as well as others.

If you are interested in using the Towne Hall for your 4H group contact our offices. If you are interested in becoming involved in 4H please contact the local chapter.

Destination Imagination-

Are you into creative problem solving? Then you've come to the right place. Destination Imagination teaches kids how to be original thinkers while helping them develop the skills necessary to work in a group. For the past eight years teams from the Mt. Hood Towne Hall have solved a wide variety of challenging problems and gone on to compete against other teams at the state level. New Parenting Group -

A new start up program the New Parenting Group gives new moms and dads a chance to get out with their toddlers and meet other parents, while the children can enjoy a safe, supervised playtime.
