The Mt. Hood Towne Hall is a rural community and recreation center serving the upper Hood River Valley. It is maintained by the volunteer Mt. Hood Towne Hall Association. In an age when most of our heritage is being lost, the Mt. Hood Towne Hall Association is committed to preserving this historic building, to educating visitors about its historical significance and to increasing business partnerships and community use of the building.
Mission- "Restoration and renovation of the Mt. Hood Towne Hall, recreating a site that meets the needs of and is actively used by the community."
Vision Statement- "The Mt. Hood Towne Hall community center is focused on inclusive community,
where people can engage each other on quality terms in a building dedicated to the arts,
community events, social services, unlimited creative and educational opportunities and
providing a market place for locally grown, produced and crafted goods."
The Mt. Hood Towne Hall continues to provide a setting for local educational, cultural and social activities, and offers a bridge to the colorful past for the residents and visitors.
