September 2010. CGGS is scheduled to have the display window at the Library. The board is open to ideas to make this an exciting display. Renee Briggs and Mary Watts provided the items and work for this years display. Sandy would like to have a traveling display that would also appear in the libraries at Hood River, Or, White Salmon, WA and Goldendale, WA. to promote interest in genealogy.

In this volume, compiled and assembled by Earline Wasser, a century of research by Lulu Crandall, George Brown, Daphne Hon Ramsey, Lottie LeGett Gurley, Cheryl Gates, Anita Drake, and Lorna Elliott, is combined with many hours of research in the vaults at The Dalles Chronicle, to provide a definitive (as we know it at this point) and highly annotated list of burials in this cemetery located just below Columbia Gorge Community College on East Scenic Drive in The Dalles. All profits go toward the purchase of a granite monument listing all burials in the cemetery.

The Pioneer Cemetery, The Dalles Oregon, 1860- sells for $20.00 a copy plus postage and handling.
