Welcome to the WSFD. We are a "combination department", with one paid fire marshal and approximately 55 unpaid volunteers serving 4,500 people in a 25 square mile district within the Hood River Valley.

The current outdoor burning hours in the West Side Fire District are 7AM to 5 PM with a valid burn permit.
