Conservation is the “Wise Use” of our natural resources. Wise use requires active management our natural resources in order that we may be assured that they are not wasted and that they are available for all future generations. It is very important that we actively manage all of our natural resources in a wise manner, but it is most important that we pay special attention to those natural resources that are renewable. These are the resources that have the capacity to renew themselves and have the potential for sustaining our livelihoods as long as we live on this planet.

The management of our forests to produce timber and other forest products is one of the key elements in providing us with the necessities of life. The Renewable Resource Conservation League is dedicated to assuring that our nation has a continuous supply of timber coming off our public lands.
