Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Columbia Gorge
Big Brothers Big Sisters (BBBS) of the Columbia Gorge finds, trains, and supports mentors for children and teens.
Volunteer ‘Bigs’ offer friendship and support with the goal of helping their ‘Little’ stay on a healthy path that will lead them to a bright future. BBBS matches Littles with Bigs in their own community and also matches Littles in grade school with Bigs in high school. These mentoring relationships help Littles do better in school and make them less likely to use drugs or turn to violence to solve problems.
