Young Latinos tell their stories....
Yesi tells a story about her dad; how hard he has worked and how much he sacrificed so her family could have what they need.
Teenagers from Parkdale, Odell, Mosier and Hood River learned how to share their experiences during a Digital Storytelling Workshop at Columbia Gorge Community College in July. The workshop was a joint project of the Next Door and the Main Street Project. The young people learned to tell their stories using digital tools, words and images. A participant, Yesenia Castro, stated, "getting a story out and getting it on video was just an awesome opportunity for me."
