June Tour - Plans are set to go to Rick Strachan's place on Fir Mountain. Rick has been doing some innovative wetland restoration work on his forested property. At this time the date we have settled on is June 14, 2003 at 0900. We'll met at the parking lot across from the China Gorge restaurant. From there we can car pool up to Rick's place. Bring your own lunch. Rick plans to be done by noon and you can leave from Rick's place if you want.This will be a joint meeting with the Mid Columbia Small Woodlands association so there will be landowners from Oregon or Washington. Meeting Ideas - Rick Strachan is soliciting ideas for chapter meetings. If you have ideas contact him at the number below. |
