Chapter Meeting Highlights – Campbell Group foresters will show us reforestation, site preparation, under burning, harvesting and root rot management practices on their land. Small woodland owners are invited to attend. If you know someone that might be interested feel free to ask him or her. 2002 Annual Meeting – LaGrande – The annual meeting was an all around success. With John Lowe and Richard Larson leading, the program speakers and field trips were top rate. The sponsorship committee received over $18000 in sponsorships. The Foresters Fund raffle netted over $2000, which is more than double last years, raffle and auction. In addition Rick Strachan, Patrick Allen, Nate Putnam, Ole Helgerson, Dennis Carlson and Larry Hoffman had fun raffling off all of the items. pending paying all the bills. The Blue Mountain chapter members did an outstanding job with the program, meeting facility, meals, vendors, sponsorships and leisure tours.
