Board Meeting
The next Executive Board meeting will be
7:00 AM Tuesday, April 30th at the Hood River
Charburger. All members are invited to attend. Future meetings are
May 28, same time and place. If you have comments or suggestions
and can’t make the meeting call one of the chapter officers
below.

Management Tour – Host - The Campbell Group
June 15 -10:00 am (Note time change) to 2:30 pm -
Meet at Campbell Group office at 139 Draper Springs Road, Glenwood
WA. To get to the office from “downtown” Glenwood
turn west on the Trout Lake hwy for about 2 miles then turn north
(right) onto Draper Springs Road. Office is about 1 mile north.
Bring your own lunch.
Highlights
– Campbell Group foresters will show us reforestation, site
preparation, under burning, harvesting and root rot management
practices on their land. Small woodland owners are invited to
attend. If you know someone that might be interested feel free to
ask him or her.

Meeting
October
8, 2002 – Probably noon meeting. We’ll be taking the
summer off again, so plan on attending the fall meeting. I’ll
get a notice out to you in September with program, date and
location. Once again, if you have suggestions contact Ole,
Patrick or me.

Project
Learning Tree
There will be no PLT sessions this spring or
summer. There will be a need for help this fall when school
begins. If you would like to help to teach teachers - Contact
Patrick Allen 509-364-3331 if you are interested in helping this
educational effort.
2002 OSAF State Meeting –
The date for the 2002 meeting has been set for May 8, 9 and 10,
2002 in LaGrande, OR. OSAF executive meeting is held on the 8th
at 1:00pm with the general sessions starting at 8:00 am on the
9th. Mark your calendars.
