Executive Board Meeting

The next Executive Board meeting will be 7:00 AM Tuesday, September 25th at the Hood River Charburger. All members are invited to attend.

Time - 6:30pm Dinner followed by presentation and business meeting

Pat will be talking to us about "The legacy of logging and its effects on production of salmonids in the headwaters streams"

Pat will describe the work that he has been involved with in the Wind River. This has been part of a larger effort to restore habitat and recover the ESA-listed (threatened) steelhead population in the watershed.

Forest Management Tour:
At the last exec meeting it was suggested that we sponsor a tour focusing on forest health and land management issues on forest land. This would be a tour open to the public in order to provide them with an understanding of the economic and environmental factors affecting current forest management practices.

If you are interested in helping to arrange such a tour, please come to one of our next meetings to help us begin planning for this event.
