The next Executive Board meeting will be 7:00 AM Tuesday, January 2nd at the Hood River Charburger. All members are invited to attend.

We have decided to change our regularly scheduled meetings as follows:
Exec meetings: last Tuesday of the month
Chapter meetings: 2nd Tuesday of the month

Steve Stampfli of the Underwood Conservation District (UCD) will be speaking at a noon meeting at the China Gorge Restaurant. Steve will give an overview of the UCD and give some details on current and future projects in the White Salmon watershed.

Our February meeting will be a noon meeting at The Charburger restaurant. It will be held Tuesday, February 13th.  Steve Pribyl, fisheries biologist from the Oregon Department of Fish & Wildlife give us an update on the wild fish policy, status of runs, and habitat efforts in the Hood River Basin.

March Meeting

We are planning our March meeting. If you have any speakers or topics you would like to see please call Richard Larson at 541-387-2568 or 541-308-1718 before January 15th.

We are planning on getting a speaker from the Washington State Department of Natural Resources to give us an update on possible policy shifts resulting from the election of a new Commissioner of Public Lands.
