Executive Board Meeting

The next Executive Board meeting will be Tuesday, September 12th at 7:00 AM at the Hood River Charburger. All members are encouraged to attend.

Summer

There will be no regular meeting during the months of June, July, August, or September. The next program meeting will be scheduled for October. If you have any desire for a particular topic or presenter for a program this fall please contact any of the Members on the Board. Their phone numbers and e-mail addresses are on our web site.

Kreps Ranch

The June 24th Forestry workshop held at the

Kreps Ranch was well attended and was a

Great success. A big thanks to all that helped

out.

Forestry Leadership Camp

Our Chapter sponsored Nick Delude from the

Wind River Middle School in Carson as a

Participent in the Magnus Tree Farm Forestry

Leadership program this year. The camp ran

From June 18th - 24th.

Jack Cushman, the student we sponsored last year, is planning on going back again this year to help out.

Local Web Site

We are interested in making our web page more useful to all members of the Chapter. We currently have our newsletters for this year and last year still on the web page, the results of the 1998 membership survey, and links to various forestry and wildlife related web sites of interest.

If you have a favorite web address you would be willing to share with the rest of the members please E-mail Richard so that he may add it to the list.
