Executive Board Meeting

The next Executive Board meeting will be Tuesday, April 11th at 7:00 AM at the Hood River Charburger. All members are encouraged to attend.

April Meeting

Tom Ortman, Clackamas County Forester, will be speaking on the National Marine Service's 4-D ruling and the effects upon private lands. The meeting will be held, April 20^th at the Charburger in Hood River. Dinner starts at 6:00 p.m. with the meeting starting at 7:00 p.m.. It will be an excellent presentation so be sure to attend.

Fund raiser- Seedling Sale

Saturday, April 8^th is our annual Seedling Sale outside of the Hood River Safeway. We have 6 volunteers for our seedling sale. The sale starts at 9:00 a.m. and will end at 3:00 p.m.. Encourage your friends to come and take home some of SAF's seedlings.

May Meeting

Kent Connaughton from PNW is our guest speaker. The meeting will be a noon meeting at the China Gorge.

June 24^th - Field Trip Kreps Ranch

Everyone is welcome. Field trip will feature classes on topics such as thinning, pruning, forest health, fire, wildlife management, marketing, and the like conducted either hourly or as 3 hour special emphasis classes. Forestry equipment vendors will also be on hand. We are being asked to help either as instructors or in the operations of the day. This even attract between 250 and 450 attendees.
