Riverside Apartments

This complex is a 26-unit affordable housing project, located on the heights in Hood River.  Riverside apartments consists of fourteen 3-bedroom and twelve 2-bedroom apartments for 60% median income or below.  For the first 5 years the units are dedicated for families working in agriculture industries, after that they will be available to any qualifying family earning 60% median income or below.  The Riverside apartments include on-site laundry facilities, a playground, an on-site manager.

Bella Vista Apartments

Bella is right.  These apartments are beautiful and are located in downtown Hood River near the Columbia River Gorge.  This affordable housing complex has 28 units consisting of fourteen 2-bedroom and fourteen 3-bedroom apartments.   All units are for families with a 50% median income or below. Seven of the units are dedicated to families working in the region's recreation/tourism industries.  Bella Vista includes laundry facilities, a playground, an on-site manager.

WyEast Vista Apartments

WyEast Vista Apartments is located on "the heights" in Hood River.  This apartment complex, funded through Rural Development (formerly FmHA) has 24 units of affordable housing designated for families working in agricultural industries.  Qualified tenants pay 30% of their income towards rents with the balance subsidized by Rural Development.  There are 8 each of two, three and four bedroom units.  In addition there is an on-site manager unit, a community room with laundry facilities, a playground, and outdoor furniture including picnic tables and BBQs.

Queens Heights Apartments

This is HOPEs rehabilitation project and is one of the very first acquisition and rehabilitation projects of its type to have been carried out in the State of Oregon.  Queens Heights is located in downtown Hood River and some of the apartments boast a view of both Mt. Adams and the Columbia River Gorge.  One of the main reasons HOPE made the decision to acquire Queens Heights was to preserve it as affordable housing in Hood River.  Queens Heights was originally constructed in 1972 and acquired by HOPE in 1998 with rehab finishing in 1999.  There are 48 units of affordable housing apartments consisting of ten 1-bedroom units, twenty-six 2-bedroom units, and twelve 3-bedroom units.  These apartments are available to qualified low to moderate income families.

White Salmon Senior Apartments

This is HOPE's first affordable housing project and it is located in White Salmon, Washington.  This is a six unit complex consisting respectively of 1-bedroom per unit.  Tenants must be at least 62-years young.  Three of the units are for 50% median income and below and the other three units are for 80% median income and below.  There is an off-site manager, washer and dryer hook-ups, and a few steps outside and you will have a spectacular view of Hood River and the Columbia River Gorge.
