About Girl Scouting

The Girl Scout Program provides girls with a wide variety of opportunities that encourage girls to take responsibility, and promote the development of strong leadership and decision-making skills. All program activities are age-appropriate and based on The Four Program Goals, as well as on the Girl Scout Promise and Law.

Our Service Area

Under the direction of the Columbia River Council of the Girl Scouts of the USA we work with girls in Klicikitat and Skamania counties in Washington, and Sherman, Wasco, and Hood River counties in Oregon. To find out how to get involved in scouting please e-mail gorgescouts@gorge.net
