202 East Humboldt St.
Bingen, Washington

Established in 1984, the Gorge Heritage Museum has found a home in the former Bingen Congregational Community Church. This church was dedicated in May, 1912.

The Gorge Heritage Museum was organized by and is operated solely by volunteers. The Museum promotes interest in the legacy from the native peoples and immigrants who settled and traded in our mountainous river valleys and along the Columbia River.

The main floor is devoted to displays donated by descendents of early residents of West Klickitat County, including photographs, documents, native art, antique clothing and furniture pieces, as well as logging equipment, tools and toys. The Museum also has an old country store! Recently renovated,
