Here's one reason that being a member of the Arc is important: The Arc of the U.S. and The Arc of Oregon advocate for the concerns of individuals with developmental disabilities and their families at the national and state level. The Arc of Oregon's 2007-2008 Legislative Agenda is available at their web site. The web site also includes a section about Guardianships.

" . . . More children with severe and profound disabilities are experiencing the exultation of play and the health benefits of physical activity." The Family Center on Technology and Disability makes its monthly newsletters available on their web site along with resources, fact sheets and other family friendly information.
